Children will be introduced to the technique of screen printing and will have a chance to learn about different examples of the technique. Every participant will create their own design for screen printing and make a stencil according to it. Towards the end we will print on tshirts, or possibly on bought cloth bags. Children can take home with them also the print of their design, it can be framed and make a nice decoration.
Instructions for participants: bring with you an old tshirt to change into, a white new tshirt to print on.

MgA. Tomáš Roubal (*1982, Prostějov, CZ)
Lives and works in Prague. He studied at the Department of Graphics and other media at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava. He specializes in drawing, painting, graphics and book art. In 2012 his book „Blackbook“ received the award for Most beautiful Czech book of the year in the category of fiction. He works as the curator of the Prague independent gallery Galerie Kytka.
MgA. Eva Maceková (*1984, Martin, Slovakia)
Lives and works in Prague. She studied at the Atelier of textile design and the Atelier of illustration and graphics at the Prague VŠUP. She focuses on illustration, drawing, painting, graphics, and book and textile art. In 2012 her book „12 hodin s Oskarem“ received the award for Most beautiful Czech book of the year in the category of Literature for children. She cooperates with the Baobab publishing house, Živel and Host magazines and others.
